What it does

Performance capture,
without the rig.

Everything runs on your machine. Capture a performance, check it on a 3D head, and drive your character in the DCC you already use.

Not just live capture

Track existing video

Already shot the performance? Import any pre-recorded clip and UFM runs the tracker over every frame, extracting the full ARKit performance — the same take data as a live capture, with your original video kept as the reference. Perfect for footage from a phone or DSLR, on-set takes you can't re-shoot, or re-processing a clip with different smoothing.

How importing works
Live webcam capture

Record from a Webcam

Capture live from any webcam — no headset, no studio, no markers. The 3D head responds as you perform so you can frame the shot before you record.

52 ARKit blendshapes

Full ARKit Set

Local face tracking via MediaPipe produces the complete set of 52 ARKit blendshapes plus 3-axis head rotation — the standard every facial rig already speaks.

Custom heads supported

Preview on a Head

Play takes back on the built-in 3D head, synced to the source video — or load your own FBX/GLB and the ARKit channels auto-map onto its morph targets.

3 DCCs supported

Live to Your DCC

Stream the performance in real time, or bake a recorded take to keyframes. The plugin auto-maps the ARKit channels to your rig in Maya, Houdini, or Blender.
