Favourites & Collections

Added in v2.2.5. Mark materials as favourites and group them into named collections to keep your library organised around the way you actually work.

Favourites

Open any material’s detail panel and click Add to Favorites to mark it. Favourites are saved to the local database and persist between sessions.

A gold ★ appears in the top-right corner of the material’s grid card so you can spot saved materials without opening the detail panel.

To filter the library down to only your favourites, click the ★ button in the filter bar. Click it again to go back to the full library.

Collections

Collections let you group materials under a name of your choosing, regardless of their source or category. A material can belong to more than one collection.

Creating and adding to collections

There are two ways to add a material to a collection:

Right-click menu: Right-click any material card in the grid. Select Add to Collection to pick an existing collection, or choose New Collection to create one and add the material to it in one step.

Detail panel: Open a material’s detail panel and click Add to Collection. A list of all your collections appears with checkmarks showing which ones the material already belongs to. Toggle any collection on or off.

Filtering by collection

The Collection dropdown in the filter bar lets you narrow the library down to a single collection. Select any collection from the list to show only its materials.

Managing collections

Right-click any material and select Manage Collections to rename or delete collections. Deleting a collection removes the grouping only - it does not delete the materials.

Quick-Filter Buttons

Two icon buttons sit at the left of the filter bar:

Both filters can be active at the same time. They are also available from the View menu and stay in sync with the toolbar buttons.
