Alongside the ambientCG CC0 collection, USL includes an expanding library of shaders and surface materials created directly by PixelConstruct. These are available to all USL users at no additional cost.


Licence

PixelConstruct materials are free to use and royalty-free across personal projects, commercial work, client deliverables, and shipped products. No attribution is required in your credits or renders.

They are not CC0. You may use them freely in your work, but the materials themselves remain the property of PixelConstruct and may not be redistributed, repackaged, or sold as standalone assets.

USL-Exclusive

PixelConstruct materials are only available through USL. They are not distributed via any other marketplace, asset store, or third-party platform. Keeping them USL-exclusive is what allows them to remain free. The library is funded by Patreon supporters and commercial subscribers, not per-asset sales.


How to Find Them

PixelConstruct materials are mixed into the main library alongside the ambientCG collection. You can filter to see them specifically:

  • Use the Category sidebar to browse by surface type
  • Search for the tag pixelconstruct to show only PixelConstruct-authored materials

Growing the Library

New materials are added continuously. Supporting on Patreon directly funds the creation of new shaders, surface types, and material categories.
